Introduced in 1987, Italy’s .IT country-specific domain extension is very popular both within the country and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for building creative and attractive domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to create an easy-to-remember domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to come back to your website or to share it with coworkers and acquaintances. The TLD can also be used for a website, which is related to the information sector because IT is an abbreviation, which is used around the globe.

Given the fact that .IT domains are not offered directly by IT-NIC, the Registry that manages this domain name extension, such a domain can be obtained through a third-party company, such as ours.
